The GTA Strategy Board and Committees

In order to fairly represent the interests of both insurers and credit hire companies (CHCs), the GTA’s Strategy Board, Technical Committee and Vehicle Committee are made up of experienced representatives from both the CHO Limited and the Insurers’ Credit Hire Steering Committee.

The Strategy Board is responsible for formulating policy and strategic matters relating to the operation of the GTA. Current members (listed below) have been appointed on an interim basis pending formal nomination by representatives from both CHCs and insurers. Those nominations will take effect on 1 December 2024.

Currently comprised of 16 members from a selection of established CHCs and insurers, the Technical Committee meets regularly in order to review applications for GTA membership, provide guidance on interpretations of the GTA protocol, and set the association’s schedule for the months and year ahead. The Technical Committee is also responsible for regularly reviewing the maximum daily rates applicable to vehicle groups outlined by our Vehicle Committee
